Zachary's 2016 NYC Triathlon!

On July 24th, I will be participating in the 2016 Panasonic New York City Triathlon as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising and endurance training program, for whom I'm raising $2000.

All for the puppies (and kittens, and horses, and other non-human animals suffering from abuse and neglect).

The 2016 Panasonic New York City Triathlon is an Olympic Distance race consisting of a 1500m swim, a 40k bike, and a 10k run. I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. The American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is the oldest and largest non-profit humane society in the world. They work tirelessly to end the neglect and abuse of animals.

This will my first race (short of a few mud runs) that I've trained and participated in. Beyond the excitement of the race itself and supporting a cause larger than myself- I see the challenge of stepping into the impossible (a freaking triathlon!) as having a far reaching effects. This race is the physical representation of all the coaching work I've done and continue to do. Providing inspiration and possibility to pursue other project and goals once thought impossible. And hopefully inspire others around me to do the same.

Please support me by sharing the link or making a donation, and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals! Any amount is welcome!

Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life.

Think of the puppies.

Thank you!

-Zachary

About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
