This IS the fundraiser you're looking for...

On April 17, 2016, I will be participating in the 2016 Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side at Disneyworld as a member of Team ASPCA! As most of you know, I'm a little obsessed with animals... Ok, I'm bigoted, spiders not included, but all varieties of fur-babies! What you may not know is I'm a yearly contributor to the ASPCA. I find them to be such a wonderful support for those poor pups and kittens and other animals that I can't personally go out and save. They're a very resourceful bunch that utilizes anything from financial donations to donations of various household goods and it always seems to amaze me how they're able to stretch that dollar to get animals the help they need. I'm truly excited to be raising funds as well as awareness of the much needed support to the ASPCA and its programs. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving services to millions of animals nationwide.

I'm so lucky to have Gracie in my life; my crazy, loving, pain in the butt rescue, whom I know I couldn't live without. Being a victim of abuse and neglect herself, I know that she easily could have been the exact type of animal the ASPCA would have saved, helped, and placed in a loving home like ours. It means so much to be able to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life, a chance which so many animals deserve, just like my pupster Gracie. It warms my heart to be surrounded more and more by likeminded people who have rescues of their own, some in which were first rescued by this wonderful organization.

Most people know I don't fundraise very often but when I do, it's about a cause that's important to me. So this April, I'll do all the leg-work (see what I did there?) and all you have to do is open your heart (and your pocketbook) and donate whatever you can afford. No donation is too small and every bit will help me reach my goal and help this animal friendly cause!
