Team Kalvelage - Racing for Animals

In January 2016, I will be participating in the 2016 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising and endurance training program. In particular, I am participating in the Dopey Challenge. What is that you ask? I will be running a 5K on January 7th, a 10K on January 8th, a Half Marathon on January 9th and a Full Marathon on January 10th. Am I crazy? Probably! But it is going to be a blast, and I get to do it as a part of Team ASPCA. I myself am the pet mom to a rescued dog, his name is Kit, and I continue to donate and volunteer where I can in order to make a difference in the lives of the animals who need it. I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. Whether or not you are also a rescue pet parent, you too can donate and make a difference! Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life.

Every donation counts, no matter the size.  A $15 donation will help provide 6 Feline Leukemia tests.  A $25 donation will help transport a rescued animal to safety.  A $50 donation will provide vaccinations for 14 homeless cats and dogs.  A $100 donation will help to provide a spay or neuter surgery for a shelter pet.

Please support me in my endeavor to participate in the Dopey Challenge by making a donation to Team ASPCA and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals!  Thank you!

About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
