RushCon: The Convention for Rush Fans

RushCon is the largest North American gathering of fans celebrating the music of Canadian rock band, Rush.   It is a by-the-fans, for-the-fans event where people from all over the world gather for an annual event full of activities, including contests and games, a charity auction featuring rare and collectible band memorabilia, a tribute band concert, tours of Rush’s management office; Anthem Records, and guest speakers that have included a former Rush producer, Rush crew, and other well-known Rush collaborators and biographers.  RushCon was founded in 2001 by a small group of fans who saw the need for a fan gathering while the band was on hiatus and not touring.   Over the past 16 years, RushCon organizers and attendees have formed life-long friendships and raised more than $103,000 through the annual charity auction.   The current RushCon team includes 5 female Rush fans who volunteer their efforts year round for an event that is a labor of love. About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
