Running for the ASPCA
Sept. 16th...Good works of this wonderful organization keep on coming. Please donate and support the 150th Anniversary of this organization giving voice to the voiceless. I can no longer run, but my passion for these poor and suffering dogs and cats and horses and so many more abused animals runs strong within. All you need to donate to vaccinate a dog is $15. Just participate. UPDATE July 28th:OK...So, I am injured. My right hip is not in line with the rest of my body. I have three muscles that are in a bit of a spasm near that awfully long nerve, the sciatic. I apparently have a hip that is not as young as I feel. So I cannot do what I wanted to do with this race. However, this is the 150th year of this wonderful institution. I hope, in celebration of their long commitment to animals in desperate need, that you will help me help them. Any contribution is welcomed. If you click on my site below, you will be able to donate easily. If you prefer to send a check, just PM me and I can help you do that. This organization gives voice to helpless animals all over. I hope you can give a little or a lot. Thank you................................................................................................................ On November 5-6, 2016, I, Barbara Thomas, will be participating in the 2016 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising and endurance training program. I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. Please support me by making a donation and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals! Thank you! If you donate $100 or more, I will post a photo of your favorite pet on my page. Just message/email me for details.
About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
