Run for Tux
I will be participating in the 2018 ASPCA Virtual 5K! I am excited to be participating and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life.
1.5 years ago, I adoped Tux as a kitten from the ASPCA. He's been the best cat (and wannabe dog) that I could have ever asked for! My adoption experience was so great, that I'd always considered volunteering at the ASPCA.
I started volunteering at the ASPCA in January 2018 and it's really been such an awesome experience. The ASPCA not only cares about their animals (whom they LOVE), but also about their volunteers, which has made it a really special experience. Also, the happiness you feel after matching an animal with a new forever home or making a cat purr uncontrollably just can't be measured.
