Becca's Mitzvah Project

I am excited to announce that I will be raising funds for animals in need, for my mitzvah project. My pet story is why I believe in helping animals in need.

I am a dog person but before I had a dog I was horrified of them. I wouldn't even get close to a dog but I really loved pets, including my fish and guinnea pigs.  When I got my first dog Lucy, she really helped me not be afraid of dogs. Things really changed for me then and now I have 3 dogs. Each time we visited our local pet store, Shake-a-paw, it seemed like we would come home with a new dog (Oscar and Bailey are a big part of our family now). I always beg my mom to make my dogs emotional support dogs (which they are for me) so they can come on to the plane and travel with us. The love of animals runs in my family. My Aunt Rita had a dog, my cousins and Aunts all have dogs too. 

My mitzvah project is focused on raising money for animals in need.  Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. I am also going to be raising money from bake sales across the country! States like New Jersey, New York and hopefully Florida too!!
