I will be participating in the 2018 ASPCA Virtual 5K! I am excited to be participating and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. A little bit of why this is important to me... 

2 years ago, my boyfriend (Gary), our son (Connor), and I adopted our Murphy from a rescue. He came to them skin and bones and had a few broken ribs. He was fostered by a man who fed him well and got him back to a healthy weight. At the rescue no one wanted him because he was always sick and vomiting. I watched people go in and out of his kennel; trying to interact with him and he wouldn’t move. He hid in his little corner. My son, who was about 1.5 at the time wanted to go in by him and he came right over by him and laid on his lap. Obviously we had to take him home. He chose us. My whole life I always loved animals and was fascinated by them....but that day changed me quite a bit. He is now the sweetest dog ever. My sons best friend. I'm hoping by doing this fund rasier we could make a little money to donate to the ASPCA so the animals can live the life they deserve. 

We don't know what we would do without our Murphy.
