About Me: My name is Megan! I am 22 years old and recently moved to Oregon with my boyfriend, Colton, and our nearly three-year-old Springer Spaniel, Tanner. A few months into our new adventure, we decided to expand our little family and adopted a one-year-old Labrador Retriever that we named Jackson (Jax for short). Jackson was a stray who was brought to our local shelter. This is my little plug about always adopting because there are millions of sweet animals that need great homes in animal shelters/humane societies. I work as a medical assistant for an amazing veterinarian. In mid-April I will begin volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society. My long-term goals are to finish my Marketing degree and get my Associates degree as a Veterinary Technician. 

Why I decided to do this: My passion is with animals and I truly believe that we need to be the voice for them since they cannot do it themselves.
