On January 16-17 2016, I will be participating in the 2016 Disneyland Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising and endurance training program. I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. Daisy is a Black Lab-Border Collie mix rescued from the floods in Tennessee several years ago and has been a wonderful addition to our family ever since! Although still terrified of thunderstorms, Daisy will check on everyone in the entire family during the night just to make sure we're all OK before heading to a hiding spot in the basement to wait out the storm. She has finally started to enjoy taking a boat ride and even an occasional jaunt on the paddleboard.
It took many years for our kids to convince me we needed a dog and adopting our special girl Daisy has been one of the best decisions of my life.
