Matt Adams runs NYC Marathon for the Animals!

For as long as I can remember, animals have been one of my true loves. In recent years, running has also joined as an additional love. I did my first full marathon in 2014 and have done several since, and I've done many half-marathons including several in other states, and am currently working on a running or cycling event in all 50 states! For the longest time I have wanted to do the New York Marathon as a bucket list run. I tried for several years but could never get accepted. In 2020 I was actually signed up with Team ASPCA, and had my spot confirmed, but then... COVID. The marathon was cancelled, and my running slowed down significantly, coming to a near standstill. However, I was able to transfer my registration to 2022, again as part of Team ASPCA!On November 6, 2022, I will be participating in the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon as a member of Team ASPCA! I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and critical funding to support the ASPCA's lifesaving programs.
