Maddy's Half Marathon

I live in a zoo. Not an actual zoo with bears and giraffes, but a zoo of rescue animals. Five dogs, two cats, a husband, and more love than I ever thought possible. Each of our animals was taken from a situation completely avoidable had other humans been more responsible. Dumped, neglected, over bred, abused, left in apartments when their people were evicted - all cirmstances that brought animals into our home that the ASPCA works to prevent for other animals that I just don't have room or resources to house. That's why I'm fundraising for them. I believe in their mission, and if we can raise money for them, maybe some day they won't need to air any more Sarah McLaughlin commercials anymore.  On November 6, 2016, I will be running the 2016 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon as a member of Team ASPCA. I'm excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising awareness and funds to support the ASPCA's programs.
