The Lucky Dog Campaign
Thank you for visiting my memorial page. I started this campaign as a school project. I wanted to help animals that had been abused or thrown out by previous owners. I have had two dogs, both of them rescues. My first dog, to who this campaign is dedicated to, was found wandering the streets of Richmond, VA. After he was found, he was taken to a shelter to be taken care of. When he arrived, he was so ragged looking that his name at the shelter was Scrappy Doo. When my family saw this dog, we knew that he was the one for us. We took him home and named him Griffon. Griffon spent six amazing years with us. This past winter, we discovered that he had cancer, and put him down four days after the New Year. No dog shold ever have to go through what Griffon did, and yet hundreds do every day. If I can make a difference in even one dog's life with this campaign, it will have been successful. Thank you all for your donations and time.
About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
