Lasher, the best cat in the world, Memorial Campaign
Lasher was the best cat in the world, and even though he passed away, he still is. We've had lasher and his sister, zenia, since they were kittens. Lasher was 19 1/2 years old, and only died last november from liver cancer. He was the sweetest, bravest, most loyal cat I know. The whole time he was in the hospital, he stayed strong and we visited him every day. His cage was filled with pictures of him, us, and our other cat. We even gave him our stuffed animals to make him feel loved. I'm glad he got to come home, because after being in the hospital for 3 days he was happy to be home for a few more. We were all with him when he died, and I know he was happy. Even when he was sick, Lasher always had a way of making me laugh and smile, especially when I'd had a bad day. I know Lasher would love that he was getting his own page, because he was a very proud kitty. He was also very silly, and liked to finish games of tag that were never even started. If you ran past him, he would definitly 'tag' you. When our bathtub broke, Lasher got into a habit of jumping in and licking the drips from the faucet. Ever since then, we would fill up a tupperware container with water and set it in the tub for him. He loved his sister alot, and found it nessesary to sit on her no matter what she was doing. We all miss Lasher so much, and he would be happy to see how much we love him. Ever since he died, we all said that we would always donate at least one dollar to any charity for cats we see on the street, in his honor. I created this page so that other animals would get a chance to be loved as much as he is loved. I also wanted to make something for lasher that would last a long long time so he would always feel loved and remembered. Me and my brother were sitting with our parents at Lenny's when the aspca ad came on. I knew right away that I wanted to help those animals, especially since my cats were one of them for a little while. I hope that I can raise lots of money for the aspca in honor of Lasher, and I want to make him proud.
I love you so so much Lasher!! You are the best cat ever!!
