Jo's Birthday Doggie Campaign!

Woof Woof Friends!

I'm off to a cheesy start but that's my style. As you all know I have been a true animal lover since the beginning of my time. My pet of choice is evidently the canine. As a child, I would walk up to every dog and pet them no matter their size, share my salami sandwiches with CeeCee (our family friend's dog), play fetch for hours with CousCous (my cousin's dog), blowdry Fufu's hair (crazy cousin's dog) and for years, cry and beg to my mom before each birthday to get me one. I finally did.... on my own.... 25 years later. My first dog Bijou changed my life and our recent addition, Choco Bean, has shown me that I have plenty of room in my heart to love some more.

This year and each year going forward, I am dedicating my birthday in honor of something that is meaningful to me. In lieu of birthday gifts, please support me by making a donation and help make a positive impact in the lives of animals! I have a long history with the ASPCA and I know that they save millions of animals lives throughout the nation!

My mission in life is to simply live with purpose. For now, this purpose is the one I most strongly identify with and that speaks to my heart. I will continue to foster dogs for as long as I live and my five year goal is to have a casita in the back of our house... not for you my friends but to rehabilitate and temporarily house dogs :-) And then I'll build one for you!

I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused, homeless and injured animals a second chance at life. We are so blessed not with what we have but by what we give. 

P.S. I was not expecting any gifts but I know my generous friends celebrate life with gifts. I'm not judging you by the amount you donate as EVERY penny counts. I'm judging you in other ways ;-)
