Garett's Birthday Campaign
A couple of months ago, Garett saw his first ASPCA commercial. He was heartbroken to learn that there were so many "sad puppies" with no one to take care of them. This was coming off of a summer of watching The Secret Life of Pets almost exclusively. He asked me (his mom) to send money to help. He thought $99 would be enough to help save all of the sad puppies. I'm pretty sure 99 is the largest number he knows. ;-) We made a small donation and I suggested that maybe for his birthday we could send more. Since that day, Garett keeps reminding me that for his birthday, he wants to send $99 to the sad puppies. He wants them all to have homes and people to take care of them. So this year, in lieu of a big party and presents (the kid has plenty of toys), we are asking friends and family who feel compelled to donate to the ASPCA and help Garett meet (and hopefully surpass) his goal.
I am donating my birthday to the ASPCA to help save animals lives! Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. In lieu of birthday gifts, please support me by making a donation and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals! Thank you!
About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
