Help Animals Thrive!

On November 6, 2022, I will be running in the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon as a member of Team ASPCA! I am honored to raise awareness and funding to support the ASPCA's programs. You are likely familiar with the ASPCA’s efforts to rescue and rehabilitate animal victims of cruelty which is a critical part of our mission. My campaign will feature the ways the ASPCA supports people to help their pets thrive in New York City!

·         Increase access to vital veterinary care services. The ASPCA improves access to veterinary care with a community veterinary center in the Bronx and in Brooklyn. These centers are situated in geographic areas that were previously devoid of any veterinary care resources. They offer accessible, low-cost services to keep pets healthy and in their homes.

·         Stop cruelty before it starts. The ASPCA works closely with NYPD, Human Service organizations, and allied agencies to support pet owners in need of in-home services like veterinary care, pet supplies, grooming and other services to improve their pets’ wellbeing.

·         Fill furry bellies. The ASPCA partners with Food Bank For New York City to increase availability of dog and cat food throughout the five boroughs. Including pet care products within the existing human care system is paramount to improving access to services that support the health of pets.

·         Respond to disasters. Unexpected disaster and crisis can put people and their pets at risk. The ASPCA responds to emergencies, like the tragic Twin Parks fire in the Bronx earlier this year. The ASPCA provided pet supplies, veterinary care, and advocacy to keep pets with their loving families.
