I am donating my 21st birthday to the ASPCA to help save animals lives! Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. Hey Family, Friends & Fellow Dog/Cat Lovers,

For those who don't know me here's a little bit about myself and why I am deciding to donate my 21st birthday to animals in need..

In 2013 I experienced, not one but multiple, life changing tragedies. Within a thirty-eight day time spand I was forced to face the loss of, both, my father and my older brother. What does that have anything to do with this, right? Well, I lost my brother on my 18th birthday, April 2nd, 2013. I am now twenty years old and for the past three years I have not celebrated my birthday because it just did not feel right to me. With everything these losses have brought me over the course of the years- pain, confusion, hate, anger- I've finally come to a place where I feel I know my purpose in life. I know what makes me happy and I am now clear on what I want out of life. I've loved dogs and cats ever since I was old enough to understand what they were and twenty years later and nothing has changed!

Animals of all kinds, but dogs and cats especially, hold a special place in my heart. I recently adopted an American Pitbull Terrier and I've been nothing less than happy since. Having a dog or a cat gives you a sense of security, a feeling of appreciation. If you feel lonely, sad, upset, or afraid these companions are good for lifting away all those negative vibes. They can truly be a blessing in someone's life, as Roxii was in mines.

Unfortunately, there are thousands of dogs and cats that have no place to call home. We hear about dogs being put to sleep on a daily basis because shelters are overcrowded. Just like me and you want to have a family to love and care for us, these homeless and needy companions need the same so I am donating my 21st birthday to the cause. I ask that you all take the time to donate whatever you can. Whether its twenty-five cents or twenty-five dollars, every penny counts and is greatly appreciated!

P.S. I know it's only November and there's still some time before my birthday actually arrives but I would like to get an early start on this campaign to bring in as much donations as possible. I need this day to count and I'll celebrate the end results on the day of my birthday. That's the only gift I'll be looking forward to.
