Cairo's plan to help others find homes

Cairo and me are fundraising in support of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! Join us in raising funds to make a difference for animals in need. Your donation will help support the ASPCA’s life-saving services for millions of animals nationwide.  Cairo knows how important this effort is--who knows what would have happened to her if after being abandoned on the side of the road in Harrisburg, weighing only seven pounds, she had not eventually made her way to my home via Operation Paws for Homes. The ASPCA is a very important to the future of countless animals in need of homes, and we appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. Please support our fundraiser by making a gift today. Thank you!

My first adopted dog was "Pete" my racing greyhound, my second is my Italian greyhound chihuahua mix, "Cairo." I like to say my dog, Cairo, rescued me rather than me rescuing her.
