Benny's New York City Marathon 2015, Starring Kasumi Goto

Hello, Friends,

Thanks for coming.

Last year, my roommate Sarah and I adopted Kasumi Goto, World's Greatest Cat, (aka "Katsumi Gato, World's Greatest Cat") from our local ASPCA here in New York City. Kasumi has been voted "Best Cat" by unanimous apartment vote forty-four weeks running and is prepared to nap, cuddle, and run around the apartment freaking out to defend her title.

In honor of Kasumi and the ASPCA, I, too, will run around freaking out. On November 1st of this year, I'm going to run around in the NYC Marathon, freaking out.

The ASPCA does great work giving injured and abused animals the care they need, helping them to find good homes. Please donate if you can--every bit helps. Thank you for your kindness and support.

Meow meow, Strangers,

When I was first brought into Benny and Sarah's apartment, I thought, "I'll just hide under this table until I'm dead." I can't remember which table it was, my object permanence is pretty touch-and-go. Then I thought, "Dang, those Cheez-Its Sarah is eating are exactly what I want."

Ever since that moment, our friendship has grown. It's hard to believe that in less than a year, Benny and Sarah have gone from being terrifying giants who give me food to a pair of oversize meat pillows who give me food.

And it's all thanks to the ASPCA, who are great. Don't get me wrong, I'm terrified of the ASCPA, too. But don't let that stop you from making a donation. They're wonderful people. Please donate today.
