Art From The Heart

Every day, artists showcase their talents to make this world a better place. Tumblr...DeviantArt...Twitter...Reddit; everywhere you look, be it available to a niche audience or a broad one, art is everywhere. The gaming community especially, has a powerful collective of artists that work together to help each other out with their own endeavors. While that is fantastic on its own, I've decided that it's time to find a new way to take that talent, and use it to help those in need. This time, the goal is to help those that can't help themselves!

Art from the Heart is an annual event that features artists from around the country, live-streaming their skills either showcasing or auctioning off both their pre-made art and art created during the stream, to benefit the ASPCA. The event itself is intended to be a 24 hour livestream featuring artists of various genres (mostly anime/gaming inspired styles). Every 90 minutes, an artist will livestream themselves working on an artpiece of a particular game/genre. In addition, there are raffle prizes up for grabs for donators, including a Wacom Intuous Pro tablet and three Roku Ultra boxes, in addition to some other goodies that you may be able to get your hands on!

This on its own means that dozens of artists will be going at it live on Twitch, showcasing their talents, building a reputation for themselves, supplying art to those interested in benefiting a great cause and promoting a safe and active atmosphere for all of this to happen.
