Art for Paws
Hi my name is Gina Tart and I am an elementary visual arts teacher. My students and I are currently hosting an art fundraiser to support and raise money for the ASPCA at our school. Our mission is to save the lives of and show love to many animals. In class, I spent a great deal of time teaching my students about the ASPCA and how to take care of pets. As part of the project, each student created a painting of their favorite pet. I will be displaying my student’s art work at our fundraiser event. Students, parents, staff and family will be invited to the event. With every donation that they make, the will get to choose one of the students pet paintings to take home. I am a huge animal lover and through getting to know my students this year, I learned that they are as well. I think it is important to teach children at a young age to understand that animals are living, feeling beings that should be loved and cared for. I hope through this event that I am not only making a difference in the lives of many abandoned and sick animals but in the lives of my students as I teach them to be responsible and caring individuals.
In addition to our art fundraiser, you can support our cause by making an online donation today. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide homes, treatment and love to many animals in need. Please support my school’s event by making a donation and help us make a positive impact in the lives of animals!
With heartfelt thanks,
About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
