Anja's Birthday Campaign

Hello Friends!

I am doing something different this year for my birthday. I'd like to donate my birthday to the ASPCA to help save all animal lives! Most of you know how passionate I am about animals of any kind. Not only are we rescuing animals, we help find them new forever homes. All through my childhood we rescued dogs. We never went to a pet store or a breeder/backyard. A second hand furbuddy knows they are getting a second chance at life.  Today in our home, we have all rescues. There's Cookies (12yrs old) a short-hair, who was a year old, picked us out at our local no-kill shelter. Oskr (around 3 wks old), was rescued with his momma and brothers/sisters from under a wooden walkway. We brought him home when he was 6 weeks old (now 5yrs old).  Barney, is our Lab/Pittie mix. Barney was also rescued from the same no-kill shelter. Barney (9 months old at the time) was a surrender by an elderly couple whom couldn't control him. Barney had been abused, not horribly abused but abused none the less (newspapers, magazines, whatever was near by).  Doggie 1 on 1 training was good for both of us. That was 11 years ago. We also rescued 2 beautiful dawgs (in second picture Princess 10 mths and Jasper 3mths).  So, you can see how your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I'd love to have your help as we fight to give abused and abused/homeless animals a second chance for a happy, healthy, love filled life. In lieu of birthday cards, please support me by making a donation of $25-more or less and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals! My goal is $1,800, any amount whether large or small, makes a difference.
