Amy's Running a Half Marathon in Disneyland for the Animals!

Last year, I ran my first half marathon. Around mile 10, I said that I'd never do this again. (I thought that I was serious.)

Here I am, once again, running another half marathon! This time I will be raising money for an awesome organization, the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). This organization is dear to my heart because I love animals. I'm an avid dog sitter amongst the great people in my life, and just love animals in general.

There's a few cool things about this half marathon:

#1 - It's in Disneyland. Need I say more?

#2 - I'm running as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising and endurance training program. Not only am I helping myself by training, but with your donations, I'll be helping to fund programs that fight for animals that cannot fight for themselves.

#3 - I'll be raising money to help fund the much need programs ran by the ASPCA. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. Any donation that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

#4 - As mentioned, this is my second half marathon that I'm running with my amazing friend, Kat. This will be her second half marathon as well. She, too, is an avid animal lover and adopted a dog that she and her husband found in the streets of Costa Rica, when they lived there. She played a big role in getting me running and in doing some fundraising! She'll be running this with me just 5 months after having her first baby!

Please support me by making a donation and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals! Thank you!

About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from dog fighting, cockfighting, and puppy mills, work to end animal homelessness and farm animal cruelty, and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today.
