Adam Sokol's 2015 TCS New York City Marathon ASPCA Fundraising Page

On November 1, 2015 I will be participating in the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising program dedicated to raising money for rescue animals in need. I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs.

As some of you know, I am very passionate about animals and enjoy running as well. Therefore, I am combining forces to help raise money for animals once again. I am especially passionate about rescue animals because my very own dog came from a shelter and I know there are literally millions of animals in need of care and/or a forever home nationwide.

Stephanie and I actually adopted our dog, Petey, from the ASPCA in NYC over 6 years ago. He's been such a great dog and I am forever grateful to the ASPCA for rescuing him from an abandoned apartment. Adopting him has honestly been life-changing, mostly because he's so much fun and brings us so much happiness. Therefore, I want to help the ASPCA save more animals just like him so they can have second chances and good homes just like him!

My fundraising goal for this particular event is $3,500; HOWEVER, it would be totally amazing to raise $5,000 because I want to help impact the lives of as many animals as possible!
