Lindsay's ASPCA Campaign
Hello everyone! My name is Lindsay, and I am participating as a Team ASPCA Athletic Ambassador for the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon in April 2017. Last year, I ran the 10k for the ASPCA and raised $235 with your help! This year, I will be running the half marathon! I am running to raise awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs.
I have worked for the ASPCA Midwest Office for the last 4 years. This is the location of the Animal Poison Control Center. We are open 24/7/365 and answer hundreds of calls per day about pets who have been exposed to potentially harmful substances. During my time with the ASPCA I have also been able to deploy with the Field Investigations and Response (FIR) team. This is the group that you see in the media rescuing animals from terrible conditions such as dog fighting, cock fighting, puppy mills, and hoarding situations. The FIR team holds a special place in my heart. This team has the most selfless people working to make a difference in the lives of animals in need. Donations will aid in supporting the FIR team.
Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. Please support me by making a donation and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals! Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
About the ASPCA: Fighting for animals is a 24/7 job, but your commitment makes it possible for our life-saving programs to create happy endings for those innocent lives touched by cruelty. Every single day of the year, we are rescuing animals from neglect and suffering. With your support, we are able to rescue animals from cruelty, work to end animal homelessness and provide medical care for countless pets in need. Please help us save even more animals and donate to this Team ASPCA campaign today. Interested in joining the team? Learn More »
