Colleen's Memorial Campaign

My beloved Kenzie who was my best friend and companion for thirteen years. She was an amazing dog who was loyal and was there for me during my long illness. Kenzie had a personality unlike any other animal and was a member of my family. She loved to travel and go to different family member's homes. Roy and I rescued  her from our local SPCA when she was barely 6 weeks old and what an impact she had on our lives. Kenzie gave countless hours of comfort, joy and happiness.It was Roy who came home the night she died and helped me through one of the most difficult times of my life. Loosing Kenzie was so painful and she died in my arms. Her spirit remains with me and her remains bring me comfort.  She is now a dog angel looking after animals in need.Her spirit is in her cat as the cat walks the fence line every moring and drinks water from the drip line as Kenzie did every morning.

I am doing this fund raiser for the ASPCA in memorial of my beloved Kenzie as I have still found it too difficult to volunteer at the local shelter. There are so many animals in need of our help as they truly are the mercy of people who abuse them. There will be a time when I hope to volunteer at an animal shelter. Animals are truly one of our greatest gifts in life and for anyone who is an animal lover knows how true this is.

My fundraining goal translates to Kenzie's birthday.
