Julie's saving our fur babies 1 stride at a time...19.3 miles in 2 days!

On November 5-6, 2016, I will be participating in the 2016 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend as a member of Team ASPCA, a national fundraising and endurance training program. I am excited to be participating as a member of Team ASPCA and honored to be raising the awareness and the much needed funding to support the ASPCA's programs. Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. The ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. I will be running a total of 19.3 miles over the course of Saturday and Sunday, Saving Our Fur Babies 1 Stride At A Time. Our Fur Baby, Nate, joined our family in October 2011!  Jesse and I went to the shelter one Saturday "just to look", we walked into the first room that had cats ranging from 6 months old and up, we were looking at an enclousure that had about 5 or 6 orange tabbies and one little cat came right up to the front of the enclosure, stuck out his paw to us and said "meow"!  Clearly this little cat was choosing us and our hearts melted.  Nate is still quite the chatter box and I must say, he makes sure I get up each morning to get my running in before work and if I try to stay in bed, he will continue to meow until I get up... now that is a training partner even if he can't run with me! Please support me by making a donation and help me make a positive impact in the lives of animals!
