Janet's leaving the people for the pets!
SSHHHH...Not a Yip! Not a Bark! Not a Meow! And most certainly not a Word!
Word around the fire hydrant is that Janet is retiring! I thought that meant she was going to take a nap but the cat said she is not going to that place with those... things ... with the two legs and ginormous wings that don't even flap. Funny looking creatures, not a spot of fur or feather. And she isn't going to hang out with the people anymore! I don't know what those people will do without her! She has been helping them for TWENTY-FIVE years! But not anymore - her last day is May 12th!
The people probably want to eat cake and tell funny stories but Janet just wants to make sure all the dogs (and maybe one cat) are treated well. So here goes....
