Amanda McGinnis Memorial Campaign

That time of year is here again. My daughter Amanda's Birthday is right around the corner on August 30th. Followed shortly by the date that she passed away, November 27th. It will be 8 years this November that she's been gone. I miss her every single day. As do her sisters Chrissie & Tryllian.

Amanda was such a GREAT lover of all animals big and small.  Over time, she spent hundreds of dollars on veterinary care for her pet rats who cost about $5 each.  She adored her kitty Crookshanks, a tiny abandoned kitten that my apt. manager brought to me on the sly to bottle feed. When the kitten was healthy and growing guess who wanted him.

She was always the go to pet sitter. Even when it was an extended period and the pet was my parrot who didn't really even like her all that much. What a gem!

She detested animal cruelty in all of it's forms, whether it be against a household pet, unnecessary trophy hunting, hoarding, dog fighting etc...

I chose the ASPCA this year because they are the nations leader in the fight against animal cruelty and the rescue and rehabilitation of these poor animals.  Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide.
