Florida, Greyhounds Need Your Help This November! Join the Effort

On Tuesday, November 6, we need you to vote YES on Amendment 13.

Florida is home to more than half of the country’s Greyhound tracks. Racing Greyhounds endure lives of near perpetual confinement, suffer severe injuries, and often die on the tracks. On average, a racing dog is killed every three days in Florida. But this November, you have the power to change that.

That’s because when you go to vote on November 6, you’ll have a historic opportunity to end Greyhound racing in the Sunshine State by voting YES on Amendment 13.

Amendment 13 will phase out commercial Greyhound racing by 2020, ensuring that thousands of dogs will no longer be forced to run for their lives and can be adopted into loving homes.

This is a huge moment for Florida’s dogs. It is critical that your voice is heard in support of this important measure.
