Florida is home to more than half of the country’s Greyhound tracks. Racing Greyhounds endure lives of near perpetual confinement, suffer severe injuries, and often die on the tracks. On average, a racing dog is killed every three days in Florida.

When voters went to the polls on November 6, they had a historic opportunity to end Greyhound racing in the Sunshine State by voting YES on Amendment 13.

Amendment 13 will phase out commercial Greyhound racing by 2020, ensuring that thousands of dogs will no longer be forced to run for their lives and can be adopted into loving homes.
