Factory Farm Detox

Factory Farm: An industrial facility that raises large numbers of animals confined in unnatural conditions, prioritizing production of meat, eggs or dairy at the expense of animals' welfare, the environment, workers, consumers, communities and farmers.

Angry about the animal cruelty, pollution and injustices occurring on factory farms? Here’s a way to make a real difference! We invite you to participate in the ASPCA’s Factory Farm Detox, a one-week commitment to eliminate factory-farmed foods from your diet. We’ll help you understand confusing food labels and find higher-welfare products.

What does it mean to Detox from factory farmed products? For one week you’ll:

Cut out meat, eggs or dairy from animals raised on factory farms.
Swap in plant-based meat and dairy alternatives and/or meat, eggs and dairy produced on pasture-based, welfare‑certified farms.
