Thanks for Sponsoring S.B. 25-159 to Modernize Veterinary Care
Dear Senator,
As your constituent, I want to thank you for your leadership in sponsoring S.B. 25-159 to modernize quality veterinary care and for recognizing the dire need pet owners have for increased access to veterinary care in Colorado.
This bill would have helped pet owners who live in rural or underserved areas, senior pet owners and working families who may struggle to access veterinary clinics during business hours. When 2 out of every 3 pets aren’t regularly receiving veterinary care, offering telemedicine would have allowed more pet owners to reach a veterinarian.
While I am disappointed that the legislature did not pass this common-sense bill, I wanted to thank you for your leadership on S.B. 25-159 and to increase access to veterinary care in our state.
