Dear Representative,
As a constituent who cares about animals and an ASPCA supporter, I thank you for being a member of the Congressional Animal Protection Caucus (CAPC). I appreciate your willingness to take the time from your busy schedule to stay informed about animal welfare issues and relevant legislation pending in Congress.
I know there are many important and pressing issues facing our country, but providing a voice to the voiceless and protecting the welfare of animals is a responsibility that cannot be overlooked.
Again, thank you for your participation in CAPC and for your interest in animal welfare legislation.

Dear Representative,
Because animal protection is important to me, as your constituent I respectfully ask that you consider joining the Congressional Animal Protection Caucus (CAPC), a bipartisan organization committed to raising awareness of and support for animal welfare issues in Congress. The CAPC dates back to 1989, and is currently co-chaired by Reps. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Mike Quigley (D-IL) and Sharice Davids (D-KS).
The purpose of CAPC is to highlight important issues affecting animals and educate Members and their staff about the need for commonsense animal protection legislation. The CAPC sponsors non-partisan briefings, tracks the progress of relevant legislation and provides credible, fact-based information about animal welfare issues.
I know there are many important and pressing issues facing our country, but providing a voice to the voiceless and protecting the welfare of animals is a responsibility that cannot be overlooked.
For that reason, I again urge you to join the Congressional Animal Protection Caucus.
