BREAKING NEWS: Last week, at the request of Wood County Humane Society, the ASPCA was on the ground in Wayne, Ohio, assisting with the removal of more than 30 cats from the property of an overwhelmed pet owner. Our teams helped to remove the cats from extremely unsanitary, hazardous conditions in the home and transported them to the ASPCA Cruelty Recovery Center in Columbus, where they will receive forensic veterinary examinations, medical treatment and behavioral care.
While these cats are now receiving care, their journeys have only just begun. Support from compassionate people like you helps make our work possible, allowing us to provide expert care and relief for the animals who need us most. Please make a lifesaving donation today to help as we provide ongoing care for these rescued cats, and to help rescue, protect and care for even more animals like them.
