UPDATE: We recently held a local adoption event for many of the recently rescued horses from Montana, and more than 60 of them found new families, including Willow, a filly not yet 1 year old, and Dorothy, an aged former broodmare just looking for a loving retirement home. Other horses from this group were transported to equine partners in the region, where they will recover and continue on their journeys toward new homes.
While the horses from Montana are now safe and headed toward new beginnings and loving homes, there are still so many animals who need us nationwide.
